10th reunion class newsletter

You can view the 10-year edition of our class newsletter here.

FAQ

How do I access the class directory?

Please feel free to contact us anytime at1997mhs@gmail.com to be added to our email list or inquire about a classmate's whereabouts. We'd love to hear from you! You can also find many of our classmates on Facebook.

How often does the newsletter come out and how do I submit a blurb?

Up until 2007, the newsletter was published annually. However, this was becoming a full-time job, so we decided to put a newsletter out every five years, to coincide with our major reunions. When we are gearing up for the next edition, we will send out announcements (via email, Facebook, etc.) asking for submissions. Until then, please hold onto your blurbs and photos. Even if we could keep track of them all, they would be outdated by the time 2012 rolls around!

Who is the reunion committee?

Your reunion committee is Abby Horman (treasurer), Cara Breeden (chair), Hannah Durocher (newsletter), Jessica Flook Patterson, Nikki Gouker Rudy (secretary), and Sarah Wiles Crawford. If you are interested in helping, please contact us at 1997mhs@gmail.com.

New Year, New Web site!

Greetings to all our MHS classmates and Happy New Year!

You've probably been forwarded here from http://mhs97.info/. The decision to switch the Web site from that address to this one was financial (I've been paying hosting fees out of my own pocket, so this free blog is an attractive alternative) but also to simplify things. Blogspot is very user-friendly and you don't need any programming experience to use it. My hope is that this will ease the transition when reunion committee positions change hands.

Speaking of which, while we don't have any major events planned until the 15-year reunion in 2012, but the committee is always looking for help. If anyone is interested in taking over from me as committee chair (must be local) or Webmaster (can be anywhere), please drop me a line 1997mhs (at) gmail.com!

Thanks,
Cara
